Geography

1. Visit this website and take notes on important geography facts you think others should know about your state. First, you need to click on your state name and then once you are on the state page click on the image that is titled, "Geography and Landforms." http://www.teachersfirst.com/share/states/index-net.html
2. Visit this site for elevation information. http://www.netstate.com/
3. Click on your state name and it will bring you to a new page all about your state. On the left hand side there is a list of terms and click on "Geography."
4. Look through the page to find the highest and lowest elevation points. Record this information on your data sheet.
5. Use this site to also record major rivers and lakes.
6. Continue to look down this page for the heading "Climate" and write down the highest and lowest temperatures. Also, write down the dates that these record temperatures occurred.
